Rutherfordium Production

Rutherfordium isotopes are produced using long-term Lead, Plutonium, Curium, Berkelium or Californium targets bombardment by accelerated ions of Titanium, Neon, Oxygen, Nitrogen or Carbon, respectively.

²⁴²₉₄Pu + ²²₁₀Ne -> ²⁵⁹₁₀₄Rf + 5⁰n
